NONOBJECT is a go-to design studio for clients looking to create experiences that positively disrupt. We are looking for an Interaction Design Intern to join us. With a small, multi-disciplinary team you’ll always be working on our coolest projects. We have no B teams, just the A team, and you’ll be on it.
Our projects span a wide array of outcomes, and apart from learning more about digital design you can expect to learn how digital design can be positively leveraged in the context of industrial design, packaging design, graphic design, service design, branding and business strategy.
You will work on various projects for different interactive platforms, from websites, apps, to tangible products. By joining the team of interdisciplinary designers and strategists, you will be able to observe and be a part of a full design process – from ideation to implementation.
We need you to see opportunities rather than challenges and you’re wired to love exceeding expectations. You’re a team player and feed off the energy of working with others, but when needed you’re equally happy to work independently.
Constraints feed your creativity and you thrive on being able to do more with less. Question marks don’t scare you. You listen closely and when you don’t understand you’re not afraid to ask questions to be sure you get it. A superstar when it comes to being organized and able to stay on task, you’re an out-of-the box thinker who can conceptualize ideas – through sketches, models, prototypes or words – in ways that positively inspire and inform the rest of us.
You:
- Are a student enrolled in either a graduate or an undergraduate interaction design program
- Have great sketching, experimentation and prototyping skills in visual and interaction design
- Have strong creation, communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator (knowledge of Sketch or other wireframing software is a plus) and a master of Keynote or PowerPoint.
- Awareness of constraints of HTML, CSS, JavaScript or Flash
