TSINGHUA UNIVERSITY PRESS TO PUBLISH “NONOBJECT”

China’s premier university to publish Chinese version in 2012

Tsinghua University, ranked in the top spot internationally amongst the best universities in mainland China, will publish “NONOJBECT” in a simplified Chinese version by July 2012.

NONOBJECT – by Branko Lukic with text by Barry Katz and a foreward by Bill Moggridge – was published in the U.S. by MIT Press in November 2010.

Soon, Chinese readers can share the insights

NONOBJECT design philosophy presents an entirely new way of developing and experiencing the world of objects that totally refreshes our relationship with them. Its startling yet intuitive insights can inspire people far beyond the worlds of design and architecture, including those engaged in business, education, medicine, product development, science and research, and virtually any field of endeavor. NONOBJECT addresses the intangible, experience space between people and objects – both physical and digital – creating objects that fill us with surprise and delight.

By July 2012, the revolutionary ideas and images in this book will be available in simplified Chinese to a country of nearly 1.3 billion people.   “We hope the concepts in this book will add a new dimension to design thinking and practice in China” states Branko Lukic, author of the book and founder of NONOBJECT design studio in Palo Alto, California.
